    Making alts
I know many players in the game now makes a lot of alternative accounts, but making alts to join multiple factions will not be allowed.

    Stacking charges
No LEO is allowed to stack charges on any suspect for any type of reason, doing so you will be punished accordingly.

Law Enforcement Officers may not purposely waste a suspects time. They are free to roleplay with a suspect, so long as that roleplay is adding to the situation of the arrest, or criminal activity directly related to the arrest.

    Tazer Rules
    [IMG]

    The rules regarding tazing:
You CAN taze if the suspect has ACTIVELY left the gunfight. This means that they must be fleeing, left the gunfight and is not just maneuvering in the gunfight in order to not be an easy target.

You CAN taze a suspect if they have a weapon in hand but HAVE NOT started a gunfight, this means if they're standing still with their gun out.

You CAN taze a suspect if he/she is fleeing in the water. They can also be /cuffed in water.

You CANNOT taze in ANY active gunfight regardless if the person you are trying to taze is strafing or reloading.

If a firearm has been shot by a suspect within 10 seconds, tazers may not be used. Tazers can only be used if the firearm has not been shot after 10 seconds. If the suspect enters or leaves an interior, this 10 second count may reset and a firearm may have to be shot again.

You CANNOT taze someone who has been knocked down by a water cannon in the middle of a fight. Meaning, you cannot use a water cannon to knock somebody down when they have been shooting a firearm and then taze them on the ground. If a person has yet to fire a shot then this is void, as a gunfight has yet to be started.

All Law Enforcement Officers must give their suspect a warning (such as "Freeze! Put your hands in the air!") before firing with a tazer. All LEOs must give at least 10 seconds for their suspect to respond before firing the tazer. If the player attempts to escape or attack they may be tazed within the 10 seconds. This rule does not apply if the suspect has Wanted Stars.

    Beanbag Rules
    [IMG]

    The rules regarding bean-bag shotguns:
You CAN bean-bag if the suspect has ACTIVELY left the gunfight. This means that they must be fleeing, left the gunfight and has not turned back to shoot at you.

You CAN bean-bag a suspect if they have a weapon in hand but HAVE NOT started a gunfight, this means if they're standing still with their gun out.

You CAN bean-bag a suspect if he/she is fleeing in the water. After someone is hit 3 times with a bean-bag shotgun, they are able to be /cuff'd while recovering from the shot.

You CANNOT bean-bag a suspect in ANY active gunfight regardless if the person you are trying to bean-bag is strafing or reloading.

You CANNOT bean-bag someone as they enter/exit an interior while an active gunfight is occurring. There have been too many instances of people abusing the loading time as an excuse to bean-bag someone. This applies to CUSTOM exteriors and interiors - meaning, you are not allowed to be bean-bagged if stuck in the "LOADING" cycle while the objects for an exterior/interior are loading on your screen.

    Faction Tension
    [IMG]

Law Enforcement Agencies are all considered equal amongst each other, and therefore one Faction does not have authority over another. Regarding this, Law Enforcement Officers may not shoot at one another in any circumstance - this includes retaliating fire (shooting back at an Officer who shot at you first). Any Law Enforcement Officer caught causing Faction Tension shall be punished appropriately. Los Santos Fire & Medical Department also fall under this rule.

Law Enforcement Officers may not steal another's suspect (for any gain, whether it be arresting or releasing/uncuffing) and shall be punished appropriately for causing Faction Tension.

Law Enforcement Officers may not cause tension over a radio such as /d. If you have an issue with any faction members, bring it up to that factions leader, or speak to a member of Faction Management.

    In-Character Corruption
    [IMG]

The following list covers what corruption a Law Enforcement Officer may commit without breaking Server Offences:

Turn a blind eye on crime,

Accept a bribe in order to release their own suspect,

Planting illegal narcotics or firearms on a suspect (must be a HEAVILY ROLEPLAYED scenario and actually have the drugs to place on said suspect),

Fining someone for an amount that is SLIGHTLY over the established amount by the Law Thread.

Using slightly more force than the Force Matrixstates (must be ROLEPLAYED).

    /charge'ing Rules
    [IMG]

You may /charge a suspect if you have their name (either by the suspect telling you, showing you their licenses or by you frisking them).

You may /charge a suspect if they are critically injured (lying on the ground in the /service ems state).

You may /charge a player with [JD / John Doe] only if the suspect has refused to provide his full name AFTER frisking him.

You cannot /charge players by knowing their license plate number.

You cannot /charge a player for crimes they have committed over 30 minutes subsequent to committing that crime.

    Backup & Revenge Killing Clarification
    [IMG]

Factions are permitted to return to situations where they have previously died, but only if another officer has requested backup via the /backup command, /r or /d. You are not allowed to return without one of those specific things happening; it will be treated as Revenge killing if those requirements are not met.

This does not mean you can go back and RK anytime you want, there MUST be a /backup call or some notification in /r or /d that alerts you back to the ongoing situation for you to be able to go back

Taking Narcotics, weapons, licenses and radios

You CAN ONLY take items (such as licenses, illegal narcotics, illegal/legal weapons, and radios) from suspects if they are cuffed, tied, or detained. You also have to be next to your suspect in order to take their licenses.

You CANNOT take items from suspects if they are injured (in the /accept death or /service ems state).

You CANNOT take portable radios, licenses(of any kind), and legal weapons from a player if they haven't committed any prior crimes.

You CANNOT take legal drug substances unless in a heavily roleplayed scenario (such as an interrogation, drug operation, etc.)

    Uniform

Faction members on-duty are to be wearing Uniform taken from /locker. This excludes FBI and LSPD.

    Ram to Avoid

Law Enforcement Officers may not ram to escape a Pursuit or avoid being shot at.

    Medics & /heal

Medics must ask the player before if they may /heal. Any Medic found using the command without permission shall be prisoned for Powergaming.

    Castille Correctional Facility
    [IMG]

Law Enforcement Officers may not open any doors for raiders, the punishment will come under Faction Tension.

Law Enforcement Officers may leave open one door inside the Facility open for inmates, must be heavily roleplayed.

Law Enforcement Officers may not place well-behaving inmates in Solitary Confinement.

    Faction Leadership

Each Faction may have up to four members with Leadership commands. Leadership commands consist of editing aspects of the Faction, inviting, uninviting, and giving ranks.
